Skincity’s founders and current owners have, together with the Board, appointed Stefan Fragner as new CEO of the company.
Stefan Fragner’s most recent role is as CEO of Happy Socks, where he has worked in various roles since 2012, including Head of e-commerce and COO.
“Stefan has successfully shown that he has a deep understanding of sustainable development and growth, not least during his time as CEO of Happy Socks, where he has grown the company’s sales at an impressive rate with good profitability. We are very much looking forward to adding Stefan’s experience of developing fast-growing companies in a digital and international context to the team,” says Jacob Wall, Chairman of the Board of Skincity.
Skincity was founded by Mikael Kjellman and Annica Forsgren Kjellman in 2011 and has sales of more than SEK 400 million, with operations in Sweden, Norway, Finland and the UK. Mikael Kjellman has been CEO of Skincity since the company was founded and will now take a strategic role in the company.
“We are very pleased to announce Stefan Fragner as the new CEO for the company as we now enter the next phase of growth. We now have a solid foundation where we have established Skincity in four markets and see great opportunities to grow on all of these – especially our EMV portfolio with Skincity as a concept. I will continue to be active in the company and support Stefan in this work,” says Mikael Kjellman.
“I am incredibly happy to become part of the fantastic Skincity team. For me, Skincity has always been best in class when it comes to conceptualized e-commerce and I am deeply impressed with what Mikael and Annica, together with their team, have achieved in a very short time. I very much look forward to starting the next chapter for Skincity,” says Stefan Fragner.
Stefan Fragner will take office on January 20, 2020.
