Emma Claesson has been appointed new HR Director at Axel Johnson. Her most recent position was as EVP and Head of HR at technology consultant AFRY (formerly ÅF Pöyry).
“Our 10/50 goal means that in ten years, at least 50 percent of Axel Johnson’s revenue should derive from activities that currently do not form part of our business”. To reach this high ambition in renewal and growth, we need the right leadership and the right competence in our companies. I am convinced that Emma, with her decisiveness, her commitment to inclusion and her broad experience of strategic and operational HR work, is the right person to drive that work, ”says Axel Johnson’s CEO, Mia Brunell Livfors.
Emma Claesson has been HR Director at AFRY since 2014. Prior to that, she was HR Manager at SSAB and management consultant at Accenture.
“Throughout my professional life, I have worked with change assignments focusing on people and organization. Axel Johnson’s companies are active in industries with a high rate of change, which places great demands on leadership and business development. This, combined with the company’s long-term perspective, strong values and great ambitions ahead, makes this feel like a really exciting context and mission, ”says Emma Claesson.
Emma Claesson will be part of Axel Johnson’s Group Management, and will take office in spring 2020.
